Roasted Garlic is the perfect way to add mild garlic flavor to many dishes such as sauces, soups, pasta, vegetables, bread! And, it’s so easy!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 or more whole heads of garlic
  • Squeeze of olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Peel the outer papery skin from the garlic bulb, leaving the cloves intact.
  3. Trim the top off the garlic bulb with a sharp knife.
  4. Place on baking dish or a square of aluminum foil (about a 10-inch square).
  5. Drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Cover baking dish tightly with aluminum foil or if making individual packets, just bring the 4 corners together and twist to secure.
  7. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until nicely browned.
  8. Allow to cool before handling.
