Easter Egg Pancakes are a fun variation of Gail’s Swedish Pancakes, which can be found in our Recipe Index. Same recipe with a few extra steps to make them fun for the Easter holiday.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups Bisquick™
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • cooking spray
  • Butter
  • Syrup
  • Neon food coloring
  • decorating icing
  • spring sprinkles
  • whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Beat Bisquick™, milk and eggs together until batter is smooth.
  2. Heat cooking spray in small (8”), non-stick skillet over medium-low heat.
  3. Pour ¼ cup batter to cover
  4. Slowly, with a tablespoon, scoop batter into skillet forming the shape of an egg.
  5. Add 1-2 drops of each neon color food coloring.
  6. Gently swirl with a fork to make a swirl pattern.
  7. Cook until bubbles start popping; flip and cook other side until light brown.
  8. Serve with butter, syrup and whipped cream.

Notes

The grass below the egg pancake is whipped cream with neon green food coloring mixed in.
