This is my father’s recipe. He makes the best bacon – sweet and salty and full of love! I shared this recipe with Carole last week and she has already made it twice! These are her pictures.
- Line a rimmed cookie sheet with heavy-duty aluminum foil.
- Set a cooling rack on top of the cookie sheet.
- Add brown sugar to a 9″ x 13″ pan. Spread around bottom of pan.
- Dredge bacon in brown sugar, coating both sides.
- Both sides coated.
- Place on cookie sheet/cooling rack and bake for 20 minutes.
- Finished bacon.
Blog update tip of the day: no time in your busy life to go back and take better photos of old recipes? Make a collage for Pinterest – Carole just combined the two photos in PicMonkey to make a more “pinnable” image.

I love cooking bacon in the oven. Another thing you can try is pineapple on bacon! Just chop up some pineapple and sprinkle it on the bacon and bake it! delicious!
