Mud Pie
Well, it was a foregone conclusion that when I found this candy dish recently at a retail store, I had to have it! The Sweet Life: A Candy Dish by Mud Pie was just meant to be in the hands of Toot Sweet 4 Two’s bloggers! After all, one of the main categories on our blog is called Sweet Life!
Isn’t this the cutest thing? Ever? I’d never heard of the Mud Pie Company until I saw this candy dish on the display shelf in this store. And, it spoke to me. It literally spoke to me, “Carole, buy me! You need me! It doesn’t matter that you’re on a diet!!! I’m so cute and pretty you need me for a photo-op for your blog! Or, better yet, make something special (and diet-friendly) to put in me instead of candy! I bet you can think of something. Buy me, buy me, buy me…” it beckoned.

But, seriously, isn’t this a beautiful, functional piece? The simple undulating curves (a phrase my Dad used, often, in describing things), the little feet, and the gorgeous, Victorian-inspired spoon? And, then there’s the wrapping and the tag – the simple twine and basic label. So classic, so beautiful!
No, this isn’t a sponsored post. Nor can you find many of their products on Amazon, so I didn’t bother to put one in our Amazon shop. But, I just loved this and I was inspired to share with our readers!
