The Month in Review – January 2013 is part of a continuing series of month-end posts, providing our readers with easy access to earlier posts they may have missed. While there are multiple ways to navigate to past posts through our Search Bar, Archives, Menu tabs and Tag Cloud, none of those features provide the title names of past posts so this monthly feature fills that gap.
In past Months in Review, I’ve used various analogies to highlight the advantages and assets of this monthly post.
For example:
In September – “kinda like going in the backdoor of a dwelling and finding a sweet surprise…”
In October – “sweetens the kitty {a ‘nod’ to our beautiful cat, Coco!}. Kinda like Coco checking out something new he’s never seen before! Or discovering that it’s fun to jump from one thing to the next, like the Princess P jumping off the pumpkins in the pumpkin patch! Or Tiffany jumping from rock to rock…”
In November -“walking through the woods of our blog and stumbling upon a gathering of fairies…”
In December – “Like the Princesses P Elf on the Shelf, Sally Snowflake, our posts are located in many random spots on our website and finding them can be a challenge.”
So, like an ocean wave washing up offerings of sea shells or sea glass on the shore or taking a loved one’s ashes out to sea, January’s monthly wrap-up is a gift to our readers.

Sadly, my father and Tiffany’s grandfather, passed away on January 19, 2013. The nine posts listed directly above are all dedicated to him and about him. He was a wonderful father and grandfather, as well as husband, and we will always miss him.
