I’m so excited that I just had to share! I’m a guest blogger! I’m a guest blogger on another site!
Recipe Chatter is the blog for Prime Publishing’s recipe sites. I wrote an earlier post titled All Free Casserole Recipes and told the story of how one of their editors contacted us and asked to feature some of our recipes on their site. We said “yes” and a symbiotic relationship was born!
Prime Publishing is a media power house, a juggernaut in the recipe and crafting genre. The following is a list (and links) to their various recipe sites (I’ll cover the crafting sites in a future post):
- All Free Casserole Recipes
- All Free Copycat Recipes
- All Free Slow Cooker Recipes
- Cheap Eats Thrifty Crafts
- Everyday Diabetic Recipes
- Fave Gluten Free Recipes
- Fave Healthy Recipes
- Fave Southern Recipes
- Mr. Food
- Recipe Lion
- Recipe Chatter
- The Best Dessert Recipes
Why am I giving readers this list? A couple of reasons:
-
maybe you, our visitor, would like to check out other recipe sites to see what’s cooking (yes, pun intended; but, hey, I’m not trying to chase you away to other sites right now – so stay with me, please {grin})
-
if you are a blogger, in particular a food blogger, maybe you’d like to know about opportunities that are out there!
So, what does this mean for me? Well, I’ve since gotten an opportunity to do two more guest posts for Recipe Chatter (check back Saturday for info on that) and Emily recommended me to one of the editors at a sister crafting site, who has asked me to do a series of guest posts (it’s a secret, but check back with me soon and I’ll give you the details!).
This recipe is not currently on our website. My contractual agreement with Prime Publishing is that they “own” the recipe and photos that are published on their site for 90 days. After that, I can post them on our site. A win-win!
So, my Creamy Ravioli and Meatball Casserole won’t appear on our site as a recipe until the middle of May. But, in the interim, I encourage you to visit Recipe Chatter, read my post and get the recipe from them.
And, of course, I encourage you to pin their recipe to Pinterest and share it on Facebook, Twitter and Google+!
Isn’t this about the coolest thing, ever? Me a “published” author on another site! I’m so excited, happy and grateful and look forward to my continued working relationship with Prime Publications and the wonderful editors of their various sites!
Many thanks to Emily at All Free Casserole Recipes for reaching out to me and fostering our relationship!
P.S. Some of our recipes are featured on All Free Casserole Recipes and The Best Dessert Recipes. Plus, one of our recipes is featured in All Free Casserole Recipes ebook, 11 Pot Pie Recipes: Chicken Pot Pie Recipes and Other Comfort Food. Check them out!
