One year ago today, we had 4 posts in 3 different categories. In our attempt to “launch” Toot Sweet 4 Two quickly and provide content to our early readership, we made an all out effort to post several times a day for the first couple of weeks {grin}. Maybe it was overkill, but in the world of SEO (Search Engine Optimization), content is king!
After that, we posted once a day (for the most part!) and settled back to figure out a “posting schedule”. Over time, we have modified our posting schedule several times, attempting to find the right balance for both of us. You can view our current posting schedule under our “New? Start Here!” tab on our main navigational menu bar. From there, choose Tooting Our Horn, which is our PR and Media page from the drop-down menu and voilà – more information than you probably wanted to know {grin}!
Here are links to the 4 posts in the 3 different categories that launched a year ago today:
-
“I say, I wonder what’s going to happen exciting today? said Piglet” – filed under our Sweet Life category, in the Family sub-category
-
Orange Crush – filed under our Sweet Home category, in the Gardening sub-category
-
Murphy’s Law – filed under our Sweet Home category, in The Eldercare Diaries sub-category
-
Amazing Things – filed under our Sweet Talk category, in the Motivational and Inspirational Quotes sub-category
A big shout-out to Elizabeth from the blog, Pirate Prerogative. Tiffany’s post, “I say, I wonder…” is about her learning the news that her sister-in-law, Elizabeth, and family were moving back to San Diego after living many years in Phoenix. If you’ve never visited Elizabeth’s blog, now’s your chance!
She, too, is fast approaching her one year blogging anniversary (September 19th) and we want to acknowledge her fine work and her continued commitment (yes, blogging is a commitment!!!). Congratulations, Elizabeth – good job! Here’s a picture of her son, The First Mate, a year ago! He is truly a cutie patootie and such a great toddler!
Hope you are continuing to enjoy these trips down memory lane back to the beginning days of launching Toot Sweet 4 Two!
