One Year Ago Today – 3 Posts in 3 More Different Categories

 

One year ago today, we had 3 posts in 3 more different categories!  We were trying to get posts loaded into each one of the eight different categories we had created (Sweet Eats, Sweet Home, Sweet Ideas, Sweet Life, Sweet Nothings, Sweet On, Sweet Spot and Sweet Talk) so that our blog would start to take shape and make sense.

We were “young, baby bloggers” then and didn’t realize that our categories only matter to us, that in the grand scheme of blogging, they really aren’t that important.  But, we were climbing a steep learning curve in this blogging world and deemed rounding out content in each category was important!

The only “good” photo out of these three is the one above, of the Princess P when she was about 3-years-old, taken my her grandfather, Poppa Z, a professional photographer.

The one of Charlie taken by me with my iPhone is a horrendous, terrible picture of him and I’ve taken flack from posting this picture {grin} not by Charlie, but from my brother, who said “why would you ever post such a terrible picture of Charlie?”  Well, my answer is because it’s funny!  It’s a funny, blurry, terrible picture of Charlie, but it captured the intent of my post (Do You Have One of These?) and Charlie didn’t care.

I think Tiffany took the picture of me and Charlie in 2010 at a family birthday party.  While not “professional”, it’s a pretty good picture of the two of us and I like it!
