How heart-melting is Princess Sweetie Pie saying “I hope you come back?” Of course Princess P was a sweetheart too and the hubby seems to carry a slight tone of desperation.
They missed me!!!
Thursday afternoon Carole and I headed to Laguna Niguel, CA for an amazing weekend to attend Mom Summit 2.0, a blogger conference. We have only been to one other conference, Bloggy Boot Camp, which you can read about in our earlier posts, Top 10 Reasons Why I Love Bloggy Boot Camp and Bloggy Boot Camp Revealed.
This marked the record for amount of time spent away from my kids. Yes, it’s true, I’ve never left them for more than two days.
We all survived. Daddy did a fantastic job and the girls were really good for him.
I see more conferences in my future!
We exchanged a few videos and an audio clip while I was away, which made my heart melt every time. Here is how we all made it through four days…

I’m happy I got to go to this amazing conference. I’m also happy that they missed me. I missed them too. Sometimes we need to miss and be missed for things to be appreciated.
I’d love to hear about ways that you and your family cope when being apart, let me hear about it in the comments!

Lots and Lots of Skype! Video clips are always Great…Also pre-recording you voice on their favorite calming, inspiring children’s book is always a winner!
There is an App Version of my book that you can record your own voice and they can have you read to them by just flipping the pages!
Enjoy! thanks Tiffany for post!
