Alright Mommies, this kind of stuff happens to you too, right?
So, I pick up Princess Sweetie Pie from school. She was so happy, in the best mood; it was contagious. The perfect start to an evening.
I snuck off to the potty (sneaky is necessary if this Mommy wants even a second to herself).
Next thing I hear is, “Mommy!!!…Mommy!!!…”
Naturally I rush out of the potty thinking there was something wrong only to see a huge grin on the little Princess’ face.
“Look Mommy!!! There was sand in my shoes!!”…
Of course there was sand in her shoes and that translates into AWESOME when seen on the floor by a three-year old.
Of course I just cleaned the house while the Princesses P were at school.
Thank goodness she is so darn cute! How can a Mommy be mad about a little sand? Just another day in the Toot Sweet life…
Tootles,

Tiff, You will for sure miss the adorableness part, but I can attest to the fact that you won’t at all miss the extra housework. Since I’m now at a more comfortable time in my life (financially) I haven’t cleaned in a few years (of course I do the day to day stuff) because my wonderful husband gets us a maid every other week. WOW! It’s fantastic. Believe me, you won’t miss the extra messes AT ALL! Smiles, Dawn

Dawn, I know you are totally right on this one. I think after a whole day of cleaning my kids can undo it all in about 10 minutes! They are lucky for the adorableness! 😉
Everyday! I take Max’s shoes off knowing better and every time there’s playground sand everywhere! Usually where i just swept or vacuumed. kids! (:
One of these days we’re going to miss this, right? 😉
