Is She the World’s Youngest Blogger?

 

At any given moment on most days I will surely find the Princesses P in their own world of pretend and imaginative play.  It is so fun to observe and overhear.  Often, I find that at least one of them is pretending to be ME!  They mimic so many of my behaviors and pretend to be little mommies and/or grown ups.

I never knew what an impact my normal, everyday tasks, words and habits could have on a little life, but boy it sure is fun watching the Princesses P role play and try to figure out this whole “grown up” gig!

One day recently, Princess P had a pad of paper and a pen in hand.  She began asking me how to spell a few different words that are way beyond a Kindergartener’s level of spelling expertise.  As usual, I was busy doing some sort of chore around the house, but still not to busy to help my girl spell some words.  Being preoccupied by my task, I didn’t really put together what she was trying to write.

 

Suddenly, a very excited little girl says “Done Mommy, look!”  I look to see her holding up that paper up proudly and she says, “I have a blog too!”

This mama was proud.
