interview-princess-p

An interview with Princess P:

Mommy: What is your favorite thing to do with friends?

Princess P: Play all the time.  Play a lot.  Play teacher.

Mommy: What are you excited about?

Princess P:  That’s school is almost here.  **Note:  We are on Day 2 of Spring Break when conducting this interview.

Mommy:  Which animal do you feel like today?

Princess P:  A wild animal.  Because I’m being crazy.

Mommy:  How are you being crazy?

Princess P:  Because I’m being wild, like excited, like excited to pick up my sister from preschool so I can play with her.

Mommy:  Who do you have the most fun with?

Princess P:  Sister.

Mommy:  Why?

Princess P:  Because she plays with me.

Mommy:  Okay, usually you guys end up not getting along…

Princess P:  Well still, I love her though.

Mommy: {Heart melting a little here}  What do you and your sister do together?

Princess P:  We mostly play teacher.  We read books a lot.

Mommy:  Who is the oldest person you know?

Princess P:  Daddy!

Mommy:  There is nobody older than daddy?!?

Princess P:  Let’s see, hmmm, in our family?  Me!

Mommy: {This is over her head it seems…} What are your favorite clothes to wear?

Princess P:  Shorts and a tank top.  This tank top, these shorts (pointing to her current outfit, which is most certainly not her favorite thing to wear).

Mommy:  What do you like to talk about with your friends?

Princess P:  Hmmm, lets see…Planning on what to play.

Mommy:  Describe the weather outside.

Princess P:  Hot.  Nice.

Mommy:  What is your favorite lunch?

Princess P:  Cereal.

Mommy:  You don’t have cereal for lunch…

Princess P:  I know.

Mommy:  Hmmmm

Mommy:  What color of the rainbow do you like the most?

Princess P:  Purple.  It’s my favorite color.

Mommy:  If you could buy anything, what would you buy?

Princess P:  Hmmmm, I would buy…hmmmm…an Easter Bunny.

Mommy:  Um, what?

Princess P:  An Easter Bunny so they would give me all their eggs all day.

Mommy:  {Feeling confused about this interview}  What else do you want to tell me?

Princess P:  I like horses because you get to ride them.

Mommy:  Thank for the interview Princess P.

Princess P:  You’re welcome.  {Leaves the room}

Note:  I wish I could take credit for all these questions, but I was inspired by this great book, which is available for purchase in Shop Toot Sweet.  I have had a lot of fun so far recording the very innocent and honest answers from my Princesses P.  I’m sure we will treasure this book when they are all grown up!
