An interview with Princess P:
Mommy: What is your favorite thing to do with friends?
Princess P: Play all the time. Play a lot. Play teacher.
Mommy: What are you excited about?
Princess P: That’s school is almost here. **Note: We are on Day 2 of Spring Break when conducting this interview.
Mommy: Which animal do you feel like today?
Princess P: A wild animal. Because I’m being crazy.
Mommy: How are you being crazy?
Princess P: Because I’m being wild, like excited, like excited to pick up my sister from preschool so I can play with her.
Mommy: Who do you have the most fun with?
Princess P: Sister.
Mommy: Why?
Princess P: Because she plays with me.
Mommy: Okay, usually you guys end up not getting along…
Princess P: Well still, I love her though.
Mommy: {Heart melting a little here} What do you and your sister do together?
Princess P: We mostly play teacher. We read books a lot.
Mommy: Who is the oldest person you know?
Princess P: Daddy!
Mommy: There is nobody older than daddy?!?
Princess P: Let’s see, hmmm, in our family? Me!
Mommy: {This is over her head it seems…} What are your favorite clothes to wear?
Princess P: Shorts and a tank top. This tank top, these shorts (pointing to her current outfit, which is most certainly not her favorite thing to wear).
Mommy: What do you like to talk about with your friends?
Princess P: Hmmm, lets see…Planning on what to play.
Mommy: Describe the weather outside.
Princess P: Hot. Nice.
Mommy: What is your favorite lunch?
Princess P: Cereal.
Mommy: You don’t have cereal for lunch…
Princess P: I know.
Mommy: Hmmmm
Mommy: What color of the rainbow do you like the most?
Princess P: Purple. It’s my favorite color.
Mommy: If you could buy anything, what would you buy?
Princess P: Hmmmm, I would buy…hmmmm…an Easter Bunny.
Mommy: Um, what?
Princess P: An Easter Bunny so they would give me all their eggs all day.
Mommy: {Feeling confused about this interview} What else do you want to tell me?
Princess P: I like horses because you get to ride them.
Mommy: Thank for the interview Princess P.
Princess P: You’re welcome. {Leaves the room}

I have had a lot of fun so far recording the very innocent and honest answers from my Princesses P. I’m sure we will treasure this book when they are all grown up!
