Waking this morning to the news that 100+ survivors of yesterday’s tornado in Oklahoma had been pulled from the wreckage “in the midnight hours” gave me hope. And, the news is currently reporting that the death toll has been adjusted downward. This massive tornado’s 20+ mile swath of devastation is unbelievable and our hearts are heavy with sorrow for the people of Moore, Oklahoma.
Any loss of life is tragic, but the loss of a child is particularly heartbreaking. As the news wires continue to report unending stories of this terrible tragedy, hold your children close.
The road to recovery is long and hard for the survivors and often lonely. So, in the spirit of helping our fellow-man, let’s “pay it forward” today and do something, anything, that helps another person. No gesture is too small.
Until Next Time,

Thanks, Anna. I’ve been blessed with many people throughout life that have helped me at various times in a number of ways. Without help, I’m sure my life would be completely different. Thanks for your comment. Love, Carole
As I sit here and type I am way too close to “ground zero” in my hotel room in Austin, Texas! I jump with each siren that fills the streets below me and am reminded that my life can change n seconds. I think of my family and my wonderful friends and I thank God that I have them in my life!!! Love you Tiff and thanks for the extra hug for my girl today!!
Jen, I don’t blame you, at a time like this being close (even if Texas is big) must be so unsettling! I’m sorry, what timing. Love you too my amazing friend, can’t wait for your return home. Every morning I give your girl a little extra love, it just feels like the natural thing to do! 🙂
What a nice post! My day is winding to the end since I usually go to bed by 9:30; so I will do my good thing for someone tomorrow…. it will be fun to figure out what it will be! 🙂
Thanks, Dawn. Thanks for the kind words and thanks for “paying it forward.”
This is very very sad & I’m praying for all those who lost someone & those who lost their homes. I just donated to the Redcross…just $10 but every little bit helps!
Love you so much! xoxo
Thanks my sweet Nicole! And, yes, every little bit helps. Love you too!
