We had this exact same cookie jar at our house until recently – it was a special tradition between my husband, and grand-daughter. Reese called it Pooh’s House, and it was the “treat” jar. Reese (age 4) would take the notion that she wanted a treat, and she had to ask Grankin (as she calls her grand-father) if she could have a treat from Pooh’s House. Then he would get the jar from it’s place in the cupboard, and ceremoniously lift the lid, then Reese would ponder which treat she wanted to take.
We’re heart-broken because Pooh’s House was dropped this past Sunday, and is, seemingly, impossible to replace. I wish I could find one to purchase! 🙁
