Happy Labor Day! Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is celebrated across the United States to recognize the role of the American worker in the economic achievements of our country. Founded in 1882, it became a federal holiday in 1894.
Marking the end of summer, it is the last day in fashion circles to wear white and the beginning of football season. Americans nationwide celebrate this day with parades, barbecues, picnics, parties and sports events. What are you doing today? Whatever it is, we hope you have a great day! From Carole and Tiffany at Toot Sweet 4 Two:
Have a happy and safe Labor Day holiday!
