Here’s a great idea for your next Halloween party – Halloween Hack: Spooktacular Party Chips! Chips in the shapes of ghosts, bats and pumpkins – so fun to have on hand for a Halloween party. Or, some come prepackaged in portion sizes, so you can pack them for lunches.
In the past, I have seen images on Pinterest were people have taken tortillas, cut them up with different cookie cutter shapes to make special chips for holidays and parties. Last year I developed and wrote a recipe post for another site and made shamrock tortillas to garnish my dish. You can check it out here: Pot O’Gold Corn Casserole. They were adorable, but I speak from experience – it isn’t easy to cut tortillas with cookie cutters, especially small cookie cutters. You end up with hand and wrist fatigue after a while and give up!
Well, I guess the manufacturers have now caught on, because it is easier to find chips in special shapes during holiday season. I found the ones in the photo above and the two photos below at World Market last October.
I found the two Halloween Hack: Spooktacular Party Chips in the photos below at Target this year. Target (one of their “brands” is Market Pantry) calls their’s Terrifying Tortilla Corn Chips. Aren’t they all so adorable? Especially the tortillas chips – orange pumpkins, black bats and pale yellow ghosts. And, they are just the right size for dipping.
And these cute little packs of Veggie Ghosts and Bat Chips are just the right size (Sensible Portions) for little ones or if you are minding your portion sizes. At 70 calories a package, they run about half the calories of a normal serving of chips. Very fun shapes to pack in your kids lunches during October.
And, here’s a photo to pin to your Pinterest board as a reminder of a fun Halloween Hack: Spooktacular Party Chips! By the way, this isn’t a “sponsored post” and I was not compensated, nor did I receive free products, to mention World Market and Target. Sometimes I like to share products that I’ve found while out-and-about because I figure if I like them, you might like them, too!
