Tiffany, Melissa, Nicole and Kyle circa 1990’s
Cousins: The definition is missing the meaning, at least in our family. We are lucky, but I’d like to think many other families are as fortunate.
If I were to write the definition of cousins according to my family it would go something like this:
- a playmate through childhood, sharing wonderful family memories.
- best friends through all stages of life, unconditionally.
Our family raised us to know the importance of one another. Although we have never lived less than a three hour drive from each other, we have always been close; always looked forward to visits and holidays so we could play and catch up.
This bond is now being carried on to the next generation, the Princesses P already seem to know how special their cousins are. I am so grateful to have had these relationships, to have such wonderful family that have been life-long friends too.
