These are blue pumpkins! Until I saw these pumpkins at Bates Nut Farm in Valley Center, California a couple of weeks ago, I didn’t know you could grow blue pumpkins! I think this is a Jarrahdale Pumpkin, originally started in the town of Jarrahdale, New Zealand, thus the name.
Blue is my favorite color (all different shades of blue; it’s hard for me to pick just one!) and my eye automatically gravitates to anything blue. So, when I saw this giant box filled with blue pumpkins, I had to get one! Here’s the one I chose on a silver tray:
This beautiful pumpkin ushers in yet another new category for Toot Sweet 4 Two! New category name: Sweet Things! So, in case you didn’t realize that we kinda sorta have all of our posts rolled up into different categories, here’s your chance to catch up!

So, we now have 9 categories instead of 8. I like 9; 9 is a nice odd number!
Sweet Things will be just anything that we like that we want to share. No rules! So expect to see quite a few things under this category! They’ll be short little posts with little snippets about why we like them and, hopefully, some really good pictures!
