All Roads Lead Home

This is a view from the window of my mother’s hospital room during one of her recent stays.   This brand new, state-of-the-art facility rests on a knoll with a commanding view of our community.  There isn’t one room in this hospital that doesn’t have a glorious view.   If having a sweeping, commanding view from a hospital bed is one of the “roads to recovery”, then this hospital has it in spades.

I took this picture during one of my mother’s recent (and frequent) stays.   In spite of the many health challenges both she and my father have faced during this past year, and their many hospitalizations, they have continued to rebound each time enough to “go home.”
