All Free Casserole Recipes

 

Recently, we were contacted by the website, All Free Casserole Recipes, asking us if they could include some of our recipes on their website!  Of course we said “yes”!  We are amazed that they found our little, itty bitty blog and honored that they wanted to invite us to their party!

They chose to feature four of our recipes including Charlie’s Lite Layered Mexican Casserole featured in the photo above.  Charlie’s Lite Layered Mexican Casserole is a “lighter” version of the original Charlie’s Layered Mexican Casserole.  I’ve reduced the amount of cheese (plus switched to a lower fat version) and substituted lean ground turkey for the ground beef.  Even this lighter version brings rave reviews from all who taste it!

In addition to Charlie’s Lite Layered Mexican Casserole, they chose to include the three below:

 

Tiffany’s Baked Mac & Cheese with a Crunchy Sourdough Topping is decadent and delicious!  Made with the famous “boxed” cheese, it includes a buttery topping of torn-apart sourdough bread.  Kid-friendly, this recipe can be easily doubled or tripled and is a hit at pot luck dinners.  In our family, there are no left-overs when Tiffany brings this to a family function.

 

 

I created Turkey Pull-Apart Pot Pie after Thanksgiving last year, using leftover turkey.  With a homemade white sauce, vegetables and canned biscuits, this casserole is quick and easy to pull together in a jif.  I made it in individual oven-proof mini-casserole dishes, but it can easily be made in a 7″ x 9″ pan.  Substitute rotisserie chicken for the leftover turkey and still have the same result – a delicious, homey, comfort dish!

 

 

Tiffany’s Easy Chicken Noodle Bake is a last minute concoction she created on a night when she was stumped for ideas.  After texting me about what she had in her frig, I suggested she make a white sauce-based dish and she took it to the next level by making it a complete meal with the addition of broccoli.  Plus, with crunchy onions and a bit of bacon, who wouldn’t love this dish?
