Hey there,
sorry I haven’t been by for a while. You know, life…!
I love what a huge deal Superbowl Sunday is over there. We have an AFL grand final that we get pretty excited about, but catering seems to be more limited to packets of chips and dip, and frozen sausage rolls and meat pies!
Also, I think because AFL basically started in the state I live in (Victoria) and has slowly started to spread in popularity, we’re not quite at the point where every single person in the country stops for the big game. Unlike the Melbourne Cup, which is a horse race, again, a Victorian thing, and is known as the Race the Stops the Nation. Go figure!

Hi, Vanessa! Glad you stopped by! I, too, haven’t had a moment to say “hi” over on your blog. I’ll stop by this week. Love the “Victorian thing”! That’s part of the charm of traditions – and Super Bowl Sunday is definitely a big tradition here (although not Victorian). Take care!
