Are you looking for appetizer recipes for a party. Are you having a Super Bowl Party, perhaps?
I’ve rounded up 21 great dips and appetizer recipes for Super Bowl Sunday – all delicious, all either developed by me and/or taste-tested by me!
GuacaMolly is really just guacamole. We’ve named it GuacaMolly in honor of one of my nieces, Molly. This is the very first recipe I posted on this blog, so it’s an “oldie” (can you tell by the poorly-focused iPhone photo) but a goodie. Flavored with lots of fresh cilantro, this is my family’s all-time favorite guacamole recipe developed by my sister, Gail.
Speaking of family favorite’s, Dorothy’s Stuffed Mushrooms are a lightened-up version of my grandmother’s (Dorothy) recipe. A mushroom-lover’s favorite, these are winners every time! These can be made ahead, stored in the refrigerator and then baked on game day.
Mushroom Lover’s Risotto Stuffed Mushrooms is another great mushroom appetizer in this round-up of appetizer recipes. Made with frozen, pre-made risotto, they couldn’t be easier to make.
Want mushrooms in a dip? Velvety Mushroom Crab Dip is decadently delicious! Just a few ingredients melted together and this dip is done!
Hot Mexican Corn Dip is another family favorite. Creamy and delicious, it is just a tad spicy. Even though this recipe makes several cups, we usually don’t have leftovers.
My Mexican Corn Salad is another family favorite. While we usually eat it as a side salad to a main dish, it makes a great bruschetta topping.
Missy’s Buffalo Chicken Wings Dip is just as spicy as classic Buffalo Chicken Wings and a new addition to my appetizer recipes. Chock-a-block full of crunchy chicken nuggets, this dip is a favorite of my New York family. Served with crackers and fresh, crisp celery and carrot sticks, this hearty dip is a meal unto itself.
Here’s another dip that will light your taste buds on fire! Lite Cheesy Jalapeno Popper Dip is so good there won’t be any left!
Whenever Tiffany makes her Bruschetta Lentil Dip, I stand right next to the bowl and chow down! One of my favorite appetizer recipes, I have to make sure I get my fair share before it’s all gone!
My friend Lorraine’s Hot Chicken Enchilada Dip is a Pinterest winner! This pin drives it’s fair share of traffic to this blog! Did I say it was delicious? It is – why wouldn’t it be? Creamy, cheesy, a little spicy with green chilies, it, too, is a hearty dip filled with savory chicken goodness.
My Easy Luau Bites will be gone in a flash. Bacon, shrimp and pineapple become a party in your mouth! Every sweet, salty, savory bite thrills.
We are halfway through 21 great dips and appetizers for Super Bowl Sunday! Keep going…
Love Caprese Salad? My Easy Caprese Skewers deliver a neat, savory package on a stick. Each bite is toothsome from the cheese, with a squishy pop from the juicy tomato. The fresh basil is a standout.
Here’s another Caprese Salad option that can be served as an appetizer. Did you know they make mozzarella cheese that can be rolled out like a pre-made pie crust! To make Caprese Salad Roll-ups, just unroll the mozzarella cheese, top with thinly sliced tomatoes, fresh basil, a drizzle of balsamic vinaigrette, roll it up, slice it and drizzle with more dressing. Yum!
Linda’s Cheese Ball is a sure-fire man-pleaser. Made with deli meat and cream cheese, it is perfect for Super Bowl Sunday.
How about making a slow cooker beef chuck roast, adding some barbecue sauce, putting out a batch of sliced Hawaiian sweet rolls in a basket, add a bowl of coleslaw – instant BBQ Beef Sliders with Creamy Crunchy Coleslaw. Let your guest make these themselves! The coleslaw is made with lite ingredients including non-fat Greek yogurt. No one will know the difference and the guys will be in man-food heaven.
Make my Sweet Onion, Red Pepper and Italian Sausage Flatbread Pizza and cut it up into small wedges. The room will be happily humming…
My Thai Turkey Flatbread Pizza is a little more difficult because the sauce has several special Asian ingredients. But, the end result is so worth it! Cut this into wedges too.
All of the rest of these 21 Great Dips and Appetizers for Super Bowl Sunday are made with one special ingredient: Bacon Jalapeno Chutney. Make a big batch of this chutney and throw together each of these recipes for a complete appetizer menu built around one main ingredient! Easy peasy!
Bacon Jalapeno Chutney Bites – little bites of crunchy, cheesy, sweet and spicy goodness! Did I mention they have bacon in them?
Bacon Jalapeno Chutney Cream Cheese Balls – toothsome, crunchy, extra cheesy, delicious. Did I mention there was bacon in them?
Bacon Jalapeno Chutney Quesadillas – cheesy, savory, chewy, delicious. Did I mention bacon is in them?
